Have you had the time of your life in the new Assassin’s Creed Game, do you enjoyed its story, the various gameplay and the atmosphere of the Victorian era London? Oh right, the game isn’t out yet…
But although the new Assassin’s Creed game is yet to be released there is already a number of DLCs for the game. Revealed today on the Ubisoft blog, the game will have a Season Pass that will include a total of seven add-ons. The most infamous part of the pack is certainly the Jack the Ripper DLC. Set twenty years after the events of the main game, the DLC campaign will put you in the boots of the investigator that will try to catch the one of the most notorious and mysterious serial killers of all time. As the official statement on the Ubisoft blog goes: “Set 20 years after the events of Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, the just-announced Jack the Ripper DLC campaign will hurl you into the midst of the Whitechapel murders, giving you a chance to investigate and hunt down the killer alongside Scotland Yard’s Inspector Frederick Abberline.”
Our expectation is that Jack the Ripper will probably be some Templar who’s killing his victims in order to achieve some dark goal or something like that, and because he was never caught out here in the real world, it will be interesting to see his identity. We’ll see if we’re right when the add-on campaign launches.
Other DLCs that are part of the Season Pass are:
The Last Maharaja
“The Last Maharaja mission pack revolves around Duleep Singh, exiled ruler of the Sikh Empire, as he battles the Templars in an attempt to reclaim his birthright.”
A Long Night
“A Long Night adds a mission that tasks Jacob with rescuing a fellow gang member.”
Streets of London
“Streets of London promises new missions, gear, outfits and weapons that add up to more than an hour of extra gameplay.”
The remaining DLC packs are Steampunk Pack and the Victorian Legends Pack. Both of them will add new gear, weapons and outfits. The last in line will be XP Boost that will give the owners of the Season Pass a special, permanent XP boost (duh).
There is no news at the moment about the release date for any of the mission add-ons.
As you can see, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate will again have lots of DLCs which will probably bring lots of greens to Ubi. We’re curious about the quality of the main game itself because if they already focused on the add-on content that means that the main game is probably finished and it seems that it will not be loaded with bugs and glitches as the Unity was. We’ll see all about that on the October 23 when the game is releasing on the PS4 and Xbone, and on the November 19 when the PC version is planned to come out.
Until then, have a look at the Jack the Ripper reveal trailer:
